VSS Update | Venu - Visually Challenged (Partially) Student | CA Course

We hope you remember Venu, a Visually Challenged (Partially) Student for whom we are sponsoring the CA course. We would like to give an update on how we are supporting him.

We sponsored CPT course for him and he has shown very good results in it. After CPT, during his IPCC coaching in Hyderabad, due to some demotivating factors and information from one of his friends and poor coaching standards he lost interest and depressed.

With help of Lohit and senior visually challenged students (who has confidence in Venu's talent) we encouraged Venu to build his confidence. Venu came to know about Master Minds through his senior who is also a blind student and when we reached Master Minds for a support they promised to exclude tuition fees for Venu.

Now Venu is ready to join IPCC course in Master Minds where classes are going to start from 2014 Jan last week. Venu wants to complete Group A & B in single attempt and he is very confident that for sure Group A will be completed in 2014 November exams.

Once Group A is completed, he can take Article-ship and for which he will get stipend which means from there on wards he can lead his own life. But he won't stop there. His dream is to complete CA course (IPCC 2 groups (4+3 subjects), 2 1/2 years Article-ship, CA final exams (2 stages)), which means if everything goes fine, from now by end of 4 years Venu will become certified Chartered Accountant. We wish him ALL THE VERY BEST.

Our close buddy Sastry (Switzerland) promised his support to Venu's expenses. Also Gopal (Chennai) has mailed us confirming his support to Venu and asked us to extend more support to Venu.

Though tuition fees is supported by Master Minds, we need to support Venu by sponsoring his Food & Accommodation fees. After making a rough calculation for Venus's IPCC course, we have listed the below things.

IPCC Tuition Fees :  Huge amount (We thank Master Minds for a great support)

Hostel Annual Fee : 17,000/- (its just for staying in college premises)
Mess  per month:      2200/-
Admission Fee:         1500/-
IPCC Materials:         3500/-
Clothes:                   1500/-

We are thinking that we may spend at least INR 50,000/- by end of the course.

Note: We don't want to take the money out, from which we have collected for poor children to whom we have been supporting from last four years.

We are thankful to MasterMinds, Lohit, Prasad, Vasu, Ravi and everyone of you without which our Venu's confidence might have not grown up to take up this big challenge. We wish him all the very best.
