VSS | 2013-2014 Academic Year | 8th General Body Meeting - Sunday, 22 September 2013

Dear Friends,
We Lohit Challapalli, Vasu Chandra, Prasad Vanga and myself attended the Chavadi Child Welfare Society 8th General Body Meeting which was conducted on Sunday, 22 September 13. It was very informative and thought provoking session. Every five years, members of the board would be changed and this time they have taken all youngsters. Though, We (VSS) felt that, we were not that much matured enough to join the board and tried to avoid joining the board, but on the strong request from elder members in the board we failed to say no. Wish we keep up their expectations.

We felt very happy on hearing the big appreciations from elders who were successful and who were in executive positions in their fields. All the credit goes to each and every one of you, who have been supporting VSS all these years.

Special thanks to Lohit who has excellently communicated in Telugu and given clear information on the ideas of VSS and how we all have been part of this successful journey since 2009.

Great thanks to Vasu Chandra and Santosh Ayyapan, who have been continuously coming to Chavadi and providing guidance to children.

Special thanks to Prasad Vanga, who came from Bangalore to attend General Body Meeting and also to talk with Venu (visually challanged) student  to whom we are sponsoring C.A course education. Prasad is the POC for Venu and through him, yesterday we met Venu as well. Very Big Thanks to Lohit who has motivated Venu a lot. He has spoken to that extent, even other blind students who are listening to him have come up with an interest to share their future plans and asked our support to fulfill their dreams.

Friends, when we see people who are in top positions and very busy with their responsibilities are still spending their valuable time for that poor children, we feel still there is a lot that should be done from our end to those poor children. I wish you people will continue your support by spending some of your time and/or money as you have been doing all these years.

Going forward, VSS promised Chavadi members that in addition to monitoring students education, we are going to guide the students in their personality development aspects as well. We request everyone of you to join hands in guiding the life style of these children towards a successful path and journey altogether.

Please feel free to ask me for any clarifications.

Best regards,
